In a rocky landscape on a northern Sardinian coastline overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea are four lighthouse-like cabins connected to a national hiking trail.
The architecture of the cabins is inspired by prehistoric, conical megalith structures on the island. The small towers of different sizes and proportions rise on the slope in blocks of carved stones from the area that naturally blend with the surroundings.
The interiors of the cabins are primarily illuminated by soft sky light that falls from an enclosing window opening under the roof, which at the same time provides a spectacular 360 degree view of the surrounding landscape from the upper viewing platform.
The cabins are simply but comfortably furnished with a focus on creating a quiet, meditative atmosphere for the visitor.
I et klippelandskab på en Nord-Sardinsk kyststrækning med udsigt til det Tyrrhenske hav ligger fire fyrtårnslignende hytter forbundet til en national vandrerute.
Udformningen af hytterne henter inspiration fra forhistoriske, koniske megalit-strukturer udbredt på øen. De små tårne med forskellige størrelser og proportioner rejser sig på skråningen i blokke af udhuggede sten fra området, der således naturligt smelter sammen med omgivelserne.
Hytternes indre oplyses primært af blødt himmellys, der falder fra en omsluttende vinduesåbning under taget, som samtidig giver en spektakulær 360 graders udsigt til det omgivende landskab fra den øverste udsigtsplatform.
Hytterne er simpelt, men komfortabelt indrettede med fokus på at skabe en stilfærdig, meditativ atmosfære for den besøgende.
